About the National Interprofessional Office for Milk (ONIL)
The National Interprofessional Office for Milk and Dairy Products (ONIL) is a public industrial and commercial institution under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Since its establishment, ONIL has played a strategic role in ensuring national food security and supporting the development of Algeria’s dairy sector.
ONIL’s mandate covers the entire dairy value chain, including:

Collection of raw milk from local producers

Support for local development and national production

Quality control and laboratory analysis

Management of the national strategic stock of milk powder

Coordination with production and processing centers

Technical and operational support for professionals
The Office operates through a network of regional directorates and distribution units that ensure nationwide coverage.
